I agree with you and I saw you on EWTN. I believe that it would help a lot of Catholics with their faith also myself. I Will pray for God's will to be done in this matter. Thank You for your willingness to do this.

I agree with this movement. I feel that there is much knowledge to be gained and therefore a closer walk with Christ.

Yes we all need to know and learn from our main power line the Pope all the way down to the Priest in our Parish. I'm in for knowing my faith to the fullest.

St. Francis learned Catechism from his parish Priest, not Theology at Trent!

Most Catholics do not know the "why" of the teachings of the Catholic Church.

What a wonderful initiative! We all need to be taught. May the Good Lord hear our prayer and grant this most needed initiative. My prayers are with you.

My husband and I (with the prayers of our Heavenly Mother), managed to put our three children through CatholicSchool's--- (and I use the term Catholic loosely I'm sorry to say). It was an up- hill battle all the way. I prayed and waited for the new revised edition of The Catechism of the Catholic Church---when they became available I started purchasing as many as I could get and gave them to Catholic Churches and schools for Communion/Confirmation/RCIA/Wedding prep and to anyone who I came in contact with either through my business, friendships or at anytime I was given the opportunity to share the Truth!!! MANY WERE GRATEFUL BUT tHROUGH FOLLOW-UP FOUND THAT IT COLLECTED AS MUCH DUST AS MOST BIBLES DO TODAY! I took The Catechism to our scool principals in the hope that they would start classes immediately!!! I received a great deal of excuses as to why they resisted using them--such as --it was up to the Bishop and not the school--yet when an expensive secular accreditation program became available they implemented it at light speed!!! When I tried to explain the importance of every Catholic knowing, loving and understanding their Faith as the way to gain a properly formed moral conscience and to make this education available to parents as well-- so they could be studying with their children---and receive the tools necessary in helping to form the moral conscience of the next generation!!! ( WHAT AN OPPORTUNITY!!!) The excuses continued! In any case the battle continues and we have a world full of Catholic's who have so little love and knowledge of their faith !---HOW INCREDIBLY SAD!!! I now have 4 beautiful grandchildren--3 are already attending the same Catholic??!! school system. In this beautiful year set aside for Faith---a most perfect gift from Pope Emeritus-BenedictXVI---what a perfect time with the gift of our revised liturgy--to implement such a wonderful teaching program!!! The Catholic Church once again on the same page! I would love to be a part of this Grace--I believe sent by the Holy Spirit--- and may we plead with our Heavenly Mother, along with all the Angels and Saint's to place our cause before Our Merciful Lord Jesus---that our Holy Father Pope Francis may be moved to hear and implement this request!!! YOUR WILL HEAVENLY FATHER, NOT OUR'S! Love, Fasting & Prayers, Mrs. Margaret Dow God Love You!!! {WE WANT TO BE TAUGHT!!!}

Kathleen Pirkl, Immaculate Conception, Hendersonville, NC. 28792-1205, USA

I support this.

Correne Kostersky, St. Augustine's, Taber, Canada

I think this is a very good idea. I sincerely hope that the Pope Francis agrees and acts on this.
