Jesus commanded us to go out and preach the Gospel! We cannot preach the Gospel if we don't know why and what we are doing. It is the Church through her Bishops and Priests that teach her parishioners what it is we believe in and why... Please do this thing... WE WANT TO BE TAUGHT!!!
God bless this country and the world...

Viewed EWTN program "Prime Time" this morning (4/15/13) and was so happy to hear of this development in our church. I am a "cradle" Catholic 83 years old and
realized after watching EWTN how little I really know about my faith. I purchased the Catechism when it became available but do not know where it is. I have not used it.
I will spend today looking for it. I hope to purchase the Compendium soon. All elementary and high school education I received was in Catholic schools. The priests and
nuns did the best they could. I feel that I received a better religious education than most students get today . However, I am most grateful for this program you have founded. You will be in my prayers and as I learn more, I hope to evangelize along with you.

I had the idea of making a list of the key teachings in the Catechism of the Catholic Church and trying to link them to the Sunday Mass readings in the three-year cycle, but this is a much better idea - to list the key teachings first and then choose readings appropriate to each teaching. I hope and pray that this plan is accepted and that it wil bear rich fruit.

I just saw "Prime Time Sunday." The books on Religion that have been taught to our children for years have been lacking good solid information.
Thank God and the Holy Spirit that you have come forth to explain the teachings of the Catholic Religion. I grew up on the Baltimore Catechism and we knew what we were expected to learn and to believe. We could talk to almost anyone about our Religion.
