This is a wonderful idea. I am a cradle Catholic, but don't think I'll ever lose the need to be taught. Our pastor has said quite a few times that we call it "practicing" our faith because that is what we are doing. Practicing. We, as humans, never perfect it. This would also help me speak my faith more clearly with my children and family!

This is a great idea and very much needed today. God Bless.

"Ordinary Sunday Catechetical lectionary" will be a good tool to help us priests to give thorough and systematic catechetical teachings. I think that it is a good response to the need of our time!

Susan Hurst, Sacred Heart Church, Sacramento, CA 95816, US

Sadly most Catholics need to be taught their faith more fully. I am excited about this initiative and definitely support it. But what really needs to be spoken about more is sin and hell. I was recently with Catholics of all ages at a Knights function and it was the main topic. Everyone agreed that we lost many people because there was no more direction by the Church. It was like having a parent that only loves and never disciplined.

Our church is hungry and very much in need of information ie to be informed.

I pray our parish does this.
