I strongly support this teaching endeavor. The need is overwhelming.

Patrick Powers, St. Clare of Assissi, Farmington Hills, MI, U.S.A.

Please give the priests this excellent tool to educate so many who are ill-informed but eager to learn. The lectionary would be a perfect gift from the Pope to his people during the Year of Faith.

Catholics are ill-informed re: their faith, and the Sunday homily is a missed-opportunity-to-educate when the teachings of the church aren't emphasized in a practical way, with easily-referenced documentation given as backup. Hopefully, an Ordinary Catechetical Lectionary would be a step in the right direction.
With Pope Benedict being such a good teacher, his approval of this lectionary would be a fitting remembrance of him as Pope.

Yes we do need to be taught and catechists need all the assistance they can get. God bless

This is a great idea to learn more about the faith, people always are looking for answers.

Knowledge is the most effective way for us to fight the lies and distortions we are being subjected to.

fernando Torres, st. NIcholas of Tolentine, Bronx, NY, United States of America

I support this 100%. I'm tired of seeing Catholics that don't know their faith. The reason we lose a lot of Catholics to fundamentalists is because of the need of knowledge.

Laura Smith, St. Anthony of Padua, Hillsdale, Michigan, United States

We are in need of structured homilies that teach our heart and minds to know Christ and His Church. This would be a remarkable tool to help souls grow in knowledge and love of their faith so they can go out and spread the Good News.

Antonette Leone, St. Benedict's , Bronx, NY, US

I support this initiative.

Julio Martinez, St. Anthony of Padua | Hispanic Catholic Charismatic Center, Bronx, NY, Usa
