Our Voices

Our Church needs your voice! Join us in asking the Magisterium to grant us an Ordinary Sunday catechetical lectionary for use in every parish around the world. This initiative is in full communion with the Roman Catholic Church, and will always be obedient to the Magisterium. Simply add your thoughts or comments on this page. Simple comment such as “I want to be taught”, or “I support this initiative” is totally acceptable. Please be sure to put down your name, parish, city, country for statistical analysis purpose. Long over due to awaken the sleeping giant. Also include same methods and techniques of St Paul Street Evangelization at the entrances of the churches

For years the CCD programs have not been effective. This applies to the children who are brought there by their parents and never to be seen after they receive their sacraments. The majority do not internalize their faith and hardly attend Mass on a regular basis. Parents do not even know what Catholics believe. This applies to the volunteers who teach. Not all but most and the proof is that it becomes a revolving door.

Having said that...the ONLY way is to hear it from the pulpit! The Priest should lead and have the zeal to pass it on.

This may be the breakthrough needed.

Yes, I want to be taught more and more about the richness of Catholicism, in temporal communion with Catholics throughout the world. I was away from the faith for 30 years, and my younger sister became a Southern Baptist, thanks to Billy Graham. She enthusiastically tried to "save" our mother, who returned to the church in the late 1980's. One of mother's friends suggested watching "The Journey Home" on EWTN, to help, as mother was upset, and I was not a christian at all.

Well, I came to live with mom after she had a heart attack ...and began to watch with her. Marcus Grodi and his convert-guests, and Fr Mitch Pakwa (sp?) and Fr Benedict Groeschel, and eventually a course on the new Catechism...and much prayer...led me, and my sister into the fullness of faith by the time of John Paul II's death.

I am now an Extraordinary Minister of the Eucharist, and take communion to Catholics in the hospital. I believe most ex-Catholics, and many in the pews would be pleasantly surprised by what the Church really believes and practices. Teach us, please. Peace, Kathe

Thank you. This would be wonderful to include Catechism teaching as well. It saddens me so much that most Catholics have no/so little knowledge of our Faith and its riches. The results are predictable and evident. The sooner you can bring this about into general practice the better.

I am well anchored in my Faith, and will outlast the "feel good" crowd.. I await the remnant church to surface, a God fearing bunch that practices the precepts of the church. Let the cafeteria catholic crowd go their way. Let us hear a little more fire and brimstone from the pulpit.
