David ONeill, St. Mary's in Barnegat NJ, NJ, United States

There is a critical need for this. The latest social science polls are grim with regard to young adults. See "Young Catholic America," by Christian Smith. The experience in our parish, which has 1,800 families, has shown us that they don't come to any programs that are offered to the laity. None. Nada. This is our only hope of reaching some of them, the few who come to Mass.

"We want to be taught" is an answer to prayers, and you are in mine.wUw

Martha O'Brien, St. Peter DeLand FL, De Leon Springs, USA

We really need this.

Tim Thom, Immaculate Conception, Kansasville, WI 53139, USA

I support this Initiative! It is desperately needed to provide a meaningful message in the homily, which should be according to the magisterium and not according to Fr. "so & so."

Jeanne Thom, Immaculate Conception, Kansasville, WI 53139, USA

This compendium to assist clergy in their homilies is very needed. We want to be taught, not entertained!

Felix Soden , Dun Laoire, Dublin, Leinster, Ireland

It is great to hear how things are progressing.
We all need to be taught.
This is such a fine, logical and practical idea.

I so look forward to taking part and telling others of it.
God Bless.

Erin Murphy, st mary Magdalene , Gilbert AZ, USA

I would love to be taught. I have forgotten a lot of what I was taught.

Corinne Addiss, Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary, Centereach, NY 11720, USA

I am blessed to belong to a great "teaching" Parish, however, so many out there NEED to be fed and taught!

David Affleck, St. Albert the Great, Huntingdon Valley, U.S.A.

This is needed for the future of our Church.

Anastassia McLindon, Gordon, Ballarat Diocese, Australia

I look forward to participating in the stir that this would cause in the pews!
