Our Voices

Our Church needs your voice! Join us in asking the Magisterium to grant us an Ordinary Sunday catechetical lectionary for use in every parish around the world. This initiative is in full communion with the Roman Catholic Church, and will always be obedient to the Magisterium. Simply add your thoughts or comments on this page. Simple comment such as “I want to be taught”, or “I support this initiative” is totally acceptable. Please be sure to put down your name, parish, city, country for statistical analysis purpose. I am 74 years old and my Faith in the Catholic Church has remained strong, However, I find that younger friends don't seem to know much about how the church works, how we go to confession, what the 10 commandments are, the Gifts of the Holy Spirit, the Works of Mercy, The Mysteries of the rosary, what a pleanry indulgence is, what Novenas are, what Spiritual Retreats are, What days of Recolection are, and so on. The Bible study I attend is based on the the magesterium of the Church. I guess I have attended it for about 35 years. I'm doing my best to keep the faith alive in my 4 children and 9 grandchildren.

Many of us are looking for teaching from the pulpit. Another meeting for adult education benefits only a few who will take the time, or have the time, to attend. We will all benefit from instruction from the pulpit. It is frustrating to hear the priest regurgitating the gospel we have just heard. Context is usually missing and most of us cannot tell you what we have learned when we leave Mass. There are so many issues in the public sphere that we need to be well educated on, and we are not. I'm with you all the way.

Thank heaven for this. I know too many young Catholic families that have left the church because of lack of knowledge
