The treasure chest of the catholic church was the greatest find in my life. It is the pearl you would sell all to own...and God will help bring that about to a heart longing for Him and Him only! After leaving the Church and then returning in 2001; seriously, I began reading the ancient writing of the saints from the Desert Fathers to the Eastern Saints and onward. Through the writings of these beloved saints and what I called them the 'big guns' of the church, I relearned my faith and fell in love with the Liturgy of the hours and more recently the 1959 Brievary. So beautiful and instructive! It's become a new devotion and awakens me to the need of God for night prayer, by the watchmen. What gifts the Good God gives for such small sacrifices.
I always wish and pray for a priestly spirit such as St. John Marie Vianney and St. Louis Marie DeMonfort. I love them so much along with little Jacenta of Fatima because they are a part of Holy Church's Communion of Saints.
I wish for souls to realize that this is not a game. That it's serious and that God expects certain things that He has told us in scripture and through the teachings of the Church. That there is a Heaven and there is a Hell and that there are evil devils seaking the ruin of souls. That our battle is against the world, the flesh (ourselves) and the devil and that the saints can teach us that clearly through their lives and their writings. Holy Mother Church, Help us go to Heaven to be with our Blesssed Lord and Mother.

The importance of a solid belief in the Catholic church and its teachings cannot be over emphasized.

We need real Catholic Catechism, this could be done better if the priest, esp. the pastor would have better understanding of the teachings of the church.

We also want to be taught the key tenets of the Roman Catholic faith weekly by our parish priests under the direction and support of our Bishop.
