Faithful to the Magisterium of the Church.

I want to be taught. This is an awesome way to promote church teachings. As a convert of 7 years, I am anxious to learn all I can about the treasury of our Faith, the Church. I have engaged parish and archdiocesan resources to learn my faith, but not everyone can do this. I have discovered that there was not always good catechesis in recent generations, there were "gaps", so to say, in good catechetical formation. Using Ordinary time to teach from the pulpit is an excellent opportunity for the faithful. Please provide the Ordinary Sunday Catechetical lectionary. God Bless our efforts.

Please produce for the faithful an "Ordinary Sunday Catechetical lectionary"....we want to be taught. Good catechesis, faithful to the Magisterium of the Church ...this is the way.

We are anxious to see the Church evangelizing instead of being evangelized by the "culture". We went through the "Why Catholic" 4 year program in our parish, which was voluntary. This program is taught to everyone coming to church on Sunday - no excuses about knowing our Faith!!! We are tired of hearing people "claim" they know what the Church teaches (even in RCIA) when they don't know.

As a lay woman of 51 who converted in her early teens, I have often had to look for sound Catholic teaching approved by the Magisterium. Our people perish and leave our parishes for a lack of knowledge. I want to be, and we, all, need to be taught in order to keep our religious freedom.

My parish does well in teaching, I am signing this to support this initiative for parishes where good teaching is lacking.

This is a terrific initiative.
