I heard about We Want To Be Taught on Radio Veritas and it sparked an interest to learn more about my faith.

I am an ordinary Catholic. i feel that I have been deprived of a vital ingredient in my religious education. As a post Vatican II person, my early religious education consisted mostly of cursory sacramental preparation, kum by yah love in type philosophy, and a heavy dose of sex education given by Sr. Mary Loise. I feel my lack of knowledge about the basic tenants of my faith contributed to my falling away from the church and from God. Thankfully, i have returned to the church, but don't feel i am sufficiently knowledgeable to bring my own children up in the way they should go.

Why are some Catholics leaving the faith and embracing Protestantism? Because they never knew the great treasure that the Catholic Faith is, and about topics like the Eucharist. Thank you for the effort! God bless you Monsignor Reilly

Yes, I want to be taught! There is such a need for teaching. Besides the right materials however, we will need teachers with burning hearts, teachers who cannot wait to pass on what is burning within them. That's harder to get ... I know.
