I support this initiative. Our Catholic people have strayed so far from the truth. I just learned today, from a younger Catholic, who had 12 years of Catholic education, that she was never taught that the consecrated host was the body and blood of Christ. She said she wasn't taught how to say the rosary, or even taught about the Blessed Mother. That made me realize how bad off our church really is. No wonder it has been easy for our children to fall away from their Catholic faith. So yes, I do very much support that our Priests get back to giving us "meat", for sermons, rather than the "jello", we have been feed all these many years now.

I want to be taught

I love the concept. I am always amazed at how little so many Catholic actually know about the teachings of the Church.

Congratulations on this great new effort! Our Church was pulled apart in the 1960s because of Vatican 2 misinterpretation and is still recovering. Why? Because many decided that the church was whatever they thought it was......supermarket Catholics everywhere......and not enough true direction from our shepherds, the priests. The flock wants and desperately needs catechesis and the truth; so that they can be Catholics not in name only. What better way than at Mass in the homily from our priests? You shall know the truth and it shall set you free......to find your way to heaven!!

I sincerely believe if we can hear the teaching of Holy Mother Church it will benefit our entire church family. There are too many Catholics that have been poorly educated in their faith and now hold political positions and do not live up to the standards of the Church. I explain constantly to other Christians that the political leaders professing to be "practicing" Catholics do not speak for the Church nor pass laws IAW Church teachings.

As a catechist, this would be beneficial in teaching the Catholic Faith to our youth, who are the FUTURE OF THE CHURCH. This would greatly enhance my ability to understand and obtain greater knowledge of the doctrine of the faith and therefore teach it at a higher level with the purpose of catechizing and evangelizing thus coming to know, the WAY, the TRUTH, and the LIGHT...Definently needed.

This is great! We need this to teach our children.

I long for more information about the Catholic Faith. Latin Masses, prayers, devotions - truly Pre-Vatican II Catholic teaching. So many have left the Catholic Faith because it veered too closely to Protestantism, and Protestantism is easier and more accessible to many than this watered-down Catholicism post V2.

I so enjoyed the show Sunday Night Prime. Thank You for bringing this information to the people. I love the concept that Fr. was talking about. We need to learn about our Catholic faith in a simple way.

The time for casual Catholicism has passed. The time for acceptance of lukewarm Catholics has passed. The church needs to stand up and clean her own and begin purging process
