Wholeheartedly support this initiative. Although our parish offers different lectures and classes for adult enrichment of the faith--few attend. I have been told by many people that their lives are too busy to attend an evening weeknight class (even if it makes them stronger in their faith!) You have to get them while they are in the pews--and that seems to be at Sunday mass. This is a brilliant idea, I'll be praying for it's success.

This is very important to have and it will help people to remain Catholic and others to become Catholic. Too many people these days fall because they don't know. People fell away to protest their faith because they didn't understand. When people are educated then they make better decisions, most of the time, which is why we should work to help people to know and understand.

We need to reclaim our faith and what a better way to do this. Our priests are sometimes scared to teach the truth because of the persecution it may bring. This would give the priest the support he needs to truly teach what the Catholic Church teaches. This will also empower us to be voices and examples in our would which desperately lack moral direction and values.

We want to be taught!. Each of us owe it to ourselves not to keep losing our children to other denominations that teach more Scripture. The future of the Church depends on this.

I have been involved in faith development ministries in my parish for over 10 years. This initiative appears to be a practical way to catechize our fellow parishioners. In a recent survey, 'faith development programs' were the most requested by our members. This idea seems to be ideal for what we have been trying to do.
