Thank you. As a Catholic Convert I came to the church after reading the Catechism and the Compendium. It is the rich history and the deep belief of the church that inspires us. I want to be taught.

we need a universal curriculum for faith formation programs using the catechism and the BIBLE and make it fun for the kids and apply to their 21st century life and feed there spiritual needs through the spiritual works of mercy. YOUTH and ADult faith based programs divorce, bullying addiction finances and replacing fears with faith JESUS I TRUST IN YOU! and the EUCHARIST
HELP US AS FAITH FORMATION teachers!
we need to look at all curriculums for the faith formation programs in each diocese they need to be systematic and common core guidelines not to make it hard for kids but faith based fun! and fellowship! we need more resources into our YOUTH! and we will grow our church! the kids will say hey their is a group for divorced kids come its fun and before you know it our church grows! we have a great spiritual poverty in this country we have soup kitchens and homeless shelters for corporal needs but boy when you work with kids and people you see the great Poverty of the SPIRIT! The HOLY SPIRIT! I Pray the Pope and the bishops here see this great need to feed and regain the souls that are lost.

I was just in the process of trying to structure a program to present to our Pastor in which our four area parishes would be progressing (with 'at home' reading assignments each week) from beginning to end through the Catholic Catechism, with Fr. briefly addressing each section at the end of Mass and bringing current topics into his homily when possible. I am so thrilled to see this already in the planning stage (at a universal level!) when I tuned in to a replay of Sunday Night Prime today. We have to know what we're evangelizing about before we can evangelize! I will pray each day that Pope Francis will embrace this vital concept.
