I am a revert of about 5 yrs. I was 40 yrs out of the church. Never received RCIA, even though I asked about it several times. I am nearly 70 yrs old and handicapped. I use a walker and have diabetis and polymyalgia rhematica. Some days are better than others. On occasion I attend the OLG Shrine in La Crosse because it is more handicapped accesible. Most of the time I watch EWTN Mass or the TV Diocese Mass. I have learned more from EWTN about the truth of my Faith than from anywhere or anyone. I want to learn more.........

I love this idea....love, love ,love it!! The church has not catechised for over 50 years now, and it is so evident in our amoral culture. I totally support your efforts to finally get it going. Only one problem...as long as the Catholic Church relies on IRS form 501 3C for tax exempt status, they will find themselves beholding to our secular government policies for financial survival. We need to simultaneously extract the church from being tied to the government financially. This is essential and how awesome it would be for us Catholics to lead the way in this effort. Think of all the non-profit organizations & churches that would benefit from release from over arching governmental restrictions. We could finally be free to teach what the true church believes without fear of loosing tax exempt status. Please God - send us tax attorneys who understand these complicated situations and help us find a way to be free to spread your gospel and teach your ways. Honor the intentions of this new movement to prepare souls for a new catholic life in You. Holy Spirit continue to inspire and protect this effort of We Want To Be Taught.com......in Jesus' name we pray. Amen

Praise God from whom all blessings flow and the Catholic Catechism is the greatest literary blessing to Catholics topped only by the Bible!
I used the very first edition as the source of instruction for RCIA classes when it was hot off the presses! I am thrilled and hope I live to see
your program in full swing in every parish throughout the world, this will be my prayer for the Church.

So many of my " catholic" friends have left the church for lack of being taught. They are now very active in other churches. What a loss to our church!

I believe this would really help all our Catholic members in the Church. Hearing our Catechism being taught from the pulpit will arm our people with the knowledge they need to know about their faith. It will help them to understand what they are to do and to believe as Catholics, why we do them, and how important it is in our life. May God bless your efforts!
