I am 70 years old & learning so much about my faith. We have bible study, the Jesus of Nazareth books & several other sources. It is amazing but the attendance is poor.
I just watched you on EWTN & I agree because the more we know about our faith the more we can share. Thank you & may God Bless you

As a CCD teacher, I have found many parents lack the knowledge of the Catholic Church needed to pass the faith down to their children. Many are so busy with activities outside of the church and would never attend classes to deepen their faith. Providing the information they need during the homily is a great idea that should help many of them.

Yes, we seek to know more., We are life-long Catholics who are experiencing a new found love for the Mass., and also realizing how much we do not not about our faith. The Catholic faith is deep and rich, and certainly a way of life. We support this initiative and will pray that your plans and efforts will be blessed and fruitful ! May the Lord raise up a new excitement for the Church in the hearts of many, Amen !

This is the most needed answer to what has happened in the Catholic Church since the late 60s. Thank you Holy Spirit!

I have been through 2 years of adult faith formation-this current cycle concluding in a few more sessions. These have been wonderful programs and we have used the USCCB catechism as the beginning of the process. The group which has faithfully attended sessions for two years were profoundly impacted, with a number of Protestant brothers and sisters following through with the RCIA.
Sadly, there were only 15-20 parishioners who attended throughout this two year cycle. It is difficult to entice adults to attend faith formation classes. Many peoples' lives are very filled with the demands of our present age. I believe more can be done through the homilies and readings-and this would be an awesome way to do it. I see this approach as a way of arranging, rather than changing. Focusing the readings in unison with the Catechism is a great way of feeding the flock! Amen, I add to your initiative!
Sincerely,
Brian LaPlante

I am thinking about becoming a Roman Catholic. I do not trust the authority of my church. It seems to be so influenced by the worldly cultures. The truth is the truth. Truth for the Roman Catholic church should also hold true for my church affiliation.

I am interested in being re chatecised since I am constantly being challenged about my faith. Two days ago some asked why do catholics baptize infants when there is Acts2:38
They also challenge that the Roman catholic church was not the church left by christ. Acts2:37-47 says when the first church was established.
1Corinthians1:10-17 talks about a church split. Christianity (Christians Acts 2) began before catholicism.
please elucidate.

I am very excited about this initiative. I can see it also being a part of the New Evangelism.
