I AM CATHOLIC AND IT IS WRITTEN THAT THE GATES OF HELL WILL NOT PREVAIL AGAINST THE CHURCH!

Christine M. Beards, N/A, Birmingham, United Kingdom

It is important to use every possible means to evangelize each and every person during this special year of Faith. This sounds like a very very effective and simple method of helping each one of us learn and understand more about our faith. I heartily support this great idea.

John Ferry, St Anne's, Sligo, Ireland

We have only been taught one part of the Gospel in Ireland for years. With a few heroic exceptions among our priests and a few bishops we have become Protestanised and now we are told that we are all going to heaven, that neither Satan nor hell really exist. Our children and grandchildren know as much about Satan and hell, as unfortunately they know about Christ or salvation and that is nothing.
God save us,
John

Catholics need to know their catholic faith.

Olga Durazo, St. Margaret Mary Parish, Tucson, AZ , USA

How beautiful to finally understand the church teachings; or to even come to know what the church teaches. Much confusion, too many opinions and misconceptions have led many Catholics away from the church. Knowledge and truth give birth to freedom; the Freedom our Lord offers us by faith and obedience.
And how can we be faithful and obedient if we don't know what to believe! May our heavenly teacher, The Holy Spirit, lead the way to bring this endeavor to fruition.

Eileen DAngelo, St. Richard, Philadelphia, PA, USA

We need catechesis of the faithful so desperately!

We are starving!

Elizabeth Broderick, Our Lady of Perpetual Help, Selma, Texas, United States of America

I think educating uncatechized Roman Catholics on the basics of their faith in homilies at Sunday Masses is critical in our secular world view that is surrounding us.

Sheryl Walters, St. Brother Albert Polish Mission Church, San Jose, CA, USA

What a wonderful idea. I am a convert and find many people in my parish totally ignorant of the Church's teachings.

Kathy troxell, St. Peter the apostle , Libertytown, md, Usa

This is urgently needed - preaching and teaching with power from the Holy Spirit!! No dry lectures - vibrant enthusiastic witnessing.
