Catechetical homilies are what we the church of God need as we do not know our faith nor what the scriptures teach and how the two relate to each other. What a gift we would receive if the Church Magisterium would put together a Catechetical lectionary and make it available to all so we could read ahead if desired and already have a feel for what may or could be stated in a homily for any Sunday throughout the year.

Yes truly, that would be a wonderful gift!

Priests must be bold...please teach the TRUTH. It is beautiful even when it challenges us to change behavior or attitudes. Don't water down the truth or worry about the collection basket. I am blessed to be in a parish where priests proclaim the truth - orthodox catechises in most homilies, but there is room for improvement: they barely ever teach on contraception. We need to hear the Truth and the reasons we teach and believe as we do.

Arthur C. Lowitzer, St. Thomas More, Allentown, PA, USA

I want to be taught the basis for Catholic belief and teaching, as revealed in the Bible, the Catechism, and Tradition.

Michelle Schmidt, Our Lady of Refuge, Orchard Lake, MI, USA

We need you to FEED us the body of Christ AND the mind of Christ. Please implement this now!
