This should have been done since the very beginning. The implementation of this initiative is greatly needed.

Get it started as quickly as possible!

We need this so badly. Let's first evanglize our Catholics.

Dcn Bernie Rekiere, Holy Apostles Catholic Church, Meridian, Idaho, USA

We used both the bible and CCc for Baptism Prep for Parents. We walked them
through the Creed, the Mas, Sacrament of Baptism and the raising of children.
We did this because they are the first teachers of their children in their
faith. The people read from the CCC and then we talked about ti. Most where
amazed because they had not even heard of the CCC. Some where even reading on
while I was talking ;-). For example the Mass was Acts 20:7 and CCC 1345.
Baptism history was Mat. 28:19, CCC (1216(indented par.), 1263, 1252,,) John
3 :5. The classes where for 2.5 hours and two nights. We also used "Children
Learn What The Live" and "Message For Parents". We had discussion time with
leading questions. We seldom get to talk about our faith public and they did.
Hope your message of evangelization gets carried through.

It was no coincidence that I was sick today and able to watch Sunday Night Prime! I have shared your same thoughts and views about better organization of how Catechism is taught and implemented for most of my life. I fully support your humble yet fervent spiritual venture to help spread the "true" Catholic word in a simple and succinct manner. God Bless you and your valiant efforts to Evangelize and attempt to bring back fallen Catholics to their faith again! Thank you very much.
Your sister in Christ,
Susan :-)

I support this initiative. God willing, it will be approved and it will be successful.

I watched "Sunday Night Prime" on EWTN tonight and was excited to hear Father Apostoli and Monsignor Riley talk about it.

We have very few teenagers and college age men and women in our pews.
Every effort to combat the catechesis given to our youth by the secular culture must be tried before we are called to account by God. This "Ordinary Sunday Catechetical Lectionary seems like a step in the right direction. We can't take such steps fast enough.
