There is a real thirst for understanding the Mass better. If you could elaborate on the rich symbols and tie them back to the Gospels, people of all ages would crowd the pews to hear more. This is a good initiative and I will pray that it gets approved.

We should have been doing this a long time ago. I will keep this endeavor in my prayers!

L. Rota, St. John Vianney, PA, USA

I support this initiative, I always learn something new as I listen and read, often being able to put things together I never have before. Thank you.

I support this initiative; the Sunday Catechetical lectionary will provide great consistancy in the Church, and the people of God will once again be taught. The power of the pulpit will be restored, thus producing more saints for Holy Mother Church.

Josh Wilbur, St. John's Seminary, Brighton, MA, USA

If implemented, this would absolutely help bring all Catholics in union wih one another, finally allowing the faithful to be truly catechized in the most obvious and important of forums, the Sunday mass. What an exciting opportunity for the Church! Many prayers and blessings to the Holy Father that he realizes the wisdom and merit in this initiative.

Michael J Reddy, Our Lady of Angles , Brooklyn, NY, U.S.A.

This uniform method of selecting Homilies would be a powerful tool in the teaching of catholic Doctrine from every pulpit around the world. It would also simplify and lessen the ambiguity, for the priest, as to what sermon he might preach on a given day. This system would give the Priest more time to meditate on his upcoming sermon and how he might relate it to areas of spiritual weakness in his parish so that his congregation might equally share in the oneness of Christ.

Liam McDonald, Cathedral Seminary House of Formation, Douglaston, NY, USA

I support this initiative, let's pray that this grows rapidly during the year of Faith.
