I love this idea. It's time to help Catholics better understand our rich faith and to keep them connected to our Body of Christ....

A good start would be to attend FSSP parishes, you will not be let down.

If folks knew into their Catholic faith they would not leave and seek out other Churches. Why trade in your Mercedes for a Kia..... Folks are starving in the pews for CATHOLIC teaching....

John MacGaffick, St Mary's/St. Peter's, Rome, NY, USA

This sort of training is needed in order to stem the flow of people from the Church.

We need to be taught!

Shirley Merfelf, St. John , Independence,Ia, USA

Badly needed!

Mike Bishop, St. Brigid Catholic Church, Memphis, TN , USA

Could not agree with you more...WE WANT and NEED to learn our faith.
Lot's of incredible things happening in the Diocese of Memphis through the courageous
leadership of our Episcopal Vicar, Fr. Bruce. Would be VERY interested to connect/adjoin with other Parishes/Diocese
across the country to exchange "best practices" and synergies.

Personally, I read the Magnificat publication for more insight. I have seen and heard how little Catholics know about their faith, and in what small, infrequent ways they put faith into practice; and how easily we are misled by specious arguments. Something has to be done so that Catholics can lead the world again with faith and reason, not cower amongst ourselves being treated like superstitious fools.

Larry Thompson, Holy Trinity, Colorado Springs, Colorado, USA

Great initiative, long overdue! This will be in my prayers.

I mentor/disciple Catholic men from around the United States from age 20 to 75 with the largest number in their early 30's. I have had to turn men down because I don't have the time to mentor more than 12 at this time. Except for two of the men, all the men who contact me ask two things from me: (1) help grow in my relationship with Christ and be a better Christian man; (2) teach me what the Church teaches. I also teach adult continuing education on such subjects as apologetics, the Eucharist, and the Book of Revelation. The laity are starving for the Truth of Jesus Christ and His Church. I often hear complaints from converts that there is no systematic teaching of the truths of the Catholic faith during and, definitely not after, RCIA. Immaculate Heart of Mary pray for us!
