My experience as a priest for thirteen years tells me that this would be a good idea. When first ordained I used the plan in Homiletics Pastoral Review which covered the three year cycle. It made writing the homilies a pleasure and facilitated bringing up important topics that people rarely get to hear. However sometimes the readings did not receive much support from the readings which meant spending much valuable time bridging the two purposes of a homily (scriptures and catechisis).
Also it was not possible to convince the other deacons and priest to be on the same teachings every Sunday. Having a universal lesson plan would ensure that certain subjects would not fall through the cracks.
