Our Church needs your voice! Join us in asking the Magisterium to grant us an Ordinary Sunday catechetical lectionary for use in every parish around the world. This initiative is in full communion with the Roman Catholic Church, and will always be obedient to the Magisterium. Simply add your thoughts or comments on this page. I agree that we need more actual teaching from the sermon. Nearly everyone I know is sick and tired of boring 'thought for the day' anecdotes when there is such great teaching available. We have the media and government attacking us and Catholics unable to defend their faith and either feeling bullied or feeling resentful of being asked to sanction what the media describe as prejudice. Yet our position is by far the more logical when it is clearly explained.

I have been longing for great teaching during the homily, always incorporating the Catechism to each sermon on Sunday so we can be faithfully taught. "My people parish for lack of knowledge." We need to be taught the true faith and not opinions and political niceties. This is a great way to teach the faith to the masses that are uncatechised.
