Having grown up in the '70s I had very little contact with the Catechism and wound up leaving the church not understanding the teachings of the Church. When I came back I watched EWTN and kept saying "Why didn't anyone ever tell me that?" even after 12 years of CCD class growing up. This systematic method is EXACTLY what the entire Catholic church is desperately in need of.

May God Bless your work. We desperately need catechesis in our churches.

I saw Sunday Night Prime on 4/14/2013 and heard about your program! I am excited to learn more and how this program of learning our Catholic faith can be implemented in our parish. My husband and I along with 8 other friends became Catholic from the Lutheran church in 2010. Since then we have been joined by 4 others from the Lutheran church we attended. The beautiful and Truthful teachings of the Roman Catholic Church are mostly wasted on the Catholic in the pew these days. It is so sad to see this happening! I teach a Bible study for ladies in our parish. They are so hungry for the Truth and they are so excited to learn the Bible and the teachings of the Church. More Catechisms of the Catholic Church have been sold and distributed in the past three years because we converts keep telling the cradle Catholics how wonderful the CCC is and that they should read it! May God bless you in your effort to catechize so that we can evangelize. May the enemy keep his distance from you! I'm sure he is very angry over your program! Where sin did abound, grace abounded all the more! Praise God for you!

We need this teaching to make up for the poor catechesis of the last fifty years.

We need to learn our faith - and priests need to know that it's ok to have catechetical homilies. A Catechetical lectionary can help do this.

I am a member of the Legion of Mary at my church and also a CCD teacher and I think this is a wonderful idea. Everything happens in His time and I believe that this is part of His Plan to strengthen His Church now in this Year of Faith.
God Bless you.
