Its a very great suggestion that all churches preach on various topics to educate the laity uniformly every Sunday.

I will be sixty next month. I remember the homilies of my childhood. There was substance, there was holiness, not a bunch of feel good mumbo jumbo. There is a hell, and thousands of souls are lost to its' depths because they believe God will forgive them no matter what their life style. The rates of increased divorce in Catholic families has sky rocketed. Couples using artifical contraceptives and birth control, thinking nothing of having an abortion...we aren't hearing the truth. I remember memorizing the Baltimore Catecism as a child. Those answers are still with me, they have been a foundation through dark times in my life. Bring back the truth, please!

I am a revert to the Catholic Church and am truly thirsting for mor knowledge of our religion. I have heard the same thing from my Catholic relatives and friends. I have passed this web page on to some of them. I am hoping this plan will bring more souls into our Catholic religion. I did say once that being a Catholic is hard work. It is only because of too many unanswered questions. I will pray that this proceedure will bring more into the church. When all churches are speaking the same words for the week we cannot fail.

My own adult children have missed out on the true teachings of our faith. We do need to be taught. - and the pulpit is where we must hear the truth.
Thank you for this effort, and God bless you!
